The author Anders Allander was 1995 appointed Project Manager in order to implement environmental management system ISO 14001 at the present unit Machines at ABB Automation Technologies AB. The work of implementation of ISO 14001 including the certification is described in previous book The Road to Environmental Certification that also exists in a Swedish edition..
This new book Continual Improvements of Sustainability describes the work thereafter year by year during an eight year period of continual improvements after the certification. It is a handbook of practice use that demonstrates with many cocrete examples how to reduce environmental impact for a unit and at the same time improve the economical result.
The book is written in an easily understood English with ”an American touch” as the writer describes it in the beginning of the book..
